This facility was originally created for the filming of the historical drama "Ryukyu no Kaze" (Wind of Ryukyu).
This exhibit primarily recreates Naha Kume Village, a thriving port city and international hub of the Ryukyu Ryukyu that flourished as a maritime trading power.
Naha Kume Village, home to many Chinese residents and a central hub of Ryukyu's great trade era, will be illuminated with a variety of lights, including Chinese lanterns, lantern sculptures, Vietnamese lanterns, Nebuta Nebuta, and Japanese paper lanterns.
We hope you enjoy the warm glow of each lantern, each with its own distinct Asian flair.
